I guess it's time to start giving some serious thought to making a start on Christmas cards. I just don't know where the year has gone!! This is my first design for this year:
I've made a set of four of these with a matching gift box. I have used the Contempo Christmas stamp set to stamp my images and sentiment. The images have then been punched out with the matching punch and layered onto the card base with dimensionals. Pearls have been adhered to the Cherry Cobbler bauble for a bit of added bling. Stampin' Up! have also got another stamp set called "Delightful Decorations" that has another four designs of christmas baubles that you could use to create this card (see page 25 of the 2011 catalogue). The DSP is called "Jolly Holiday"
This is a picture of the box:
This time I have also used the "Season Of Joy" stamp set as well as Contempo Christmas. Pearls have been added to the bauble again and silver twine (non SU) tied around the top. The base of the box is Crumb Cake and the top is made from Early Espresso. The box is super easy to make and can be used for all sorts of tings - not only for holding cards! I will post up a tutorial on how to make the box so keep and eye out for it!!
Recipe:
- Crumb Cake, Whisper White, Early Espresso & Cherry Cobbler card stock
- Season of Joy DSP
- Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler & Early Espresso Markers
- Old Olive Grosgrain Ribbon, Old Olive Striped Grosgrain Ribbon, Basic Pearls
- Extra large Ornament Punch
- Non SU: punches, silver twine

What a cute project!
