Good Morning!!
Hope you are enjoying this (slightly) cooler weather! Makes a nice change doesn't it - I am sooo over the heat!!
The StampAMemory challenge for this month is to CASE a layout from the current Idea Book & Catalogue. I chose to CASE this layout from page 76:
And this is the result:
Looks totally differnet, doesn't it!! I like using multiple photos on a layout, so the photo placement really appealed to me, as did the embellishments in the bottom left corner.
To create my layout, I used paper from the 'Greenhouse Gala' range of DSP for my background and also to cover the chipboard flowers from the 'On Board Mix & Match'. The stems of the flowers have been coloured firstly with Whisper White Craft ink, then Old Olive, and just for a bit of added bling, I filled the centre of one of the flowers with rhinestones. To create my number 50, I covered some chipboard with 'Certainly Celery' cardstock, then diecut it with the 'Simple Numbers' Bigz Die. See the oval chipboard shape in the centre of the layout?? That is the middle of the number '0' that has been stamped with 'friends' from the 'Just Believe' stamp set. Waste not, want not I always say!! (lol) The 'Notes and Details' stamp set has been used to create my journalling block - it was just the right size!
I had fun creating this layout and hope you like what I have come up with.
