Morning everyone! First Monday of the month and it's Stamp-A-Memory challenge time again! the challenge for this month was to scrap a photo 10 years or older. For my page, I chose to scrap some old photos of my hometown of York:
I've chosen to keep this page fairly simple and have used DSP from the Elegant Soiree range. I love the self printed swirl on the bottom of the page - it saves having to add anything else there!! I've used my Bigshot and the wonderful range of dies & embossing folders that Stampin' Up! has to create most of the embellishments on my page. The trims at the bottom of the page were created using the Tasteful Trim Bigz XL Die from the new Autumn-Winter Mini catalogue just released. You can find it on page 9. I can see that I will be getting a lot of use out of this die. If you haven't yet seen this catalogue, you can download it from here, or email me if you would like your own hard copy of the mini.
My title was created using chipboard alphas from the Onboard alphabet that have been coloured with Cajun Craze ink, then run through the Lattice embossing folder. I didn't have numbers to create '100' so I used letters instead (who would know!!) . The rest of the title was made using the Medium Sizzlets Timeless Type Junior alphabet die (page 152 of the IDB&C).
My flower embellishment (have I mentioned before that I love using flowers???) has been made using the Paper Daisies pack (page 140 of the IDB&C). The two smaller flowers on top have been dyed using the Soft Suede Re-inker. I think it's great being able to dye these flowers to suit whatever colours I have used on my project!!
I hope you enjoyed looking at what I have created. Why don't you hop on over to Stamp-A-Memory and check out what the other talented Design Team Members have created. And while you're there, why don't you play along too?? We would love to see your creations!
Thanks for stopping by.
